Congratulations to Tara Watters for defending her County Championship crown in fine style.

After coming first in the 36-hole qualifier, Tara was relatively untroubled in the match-play stages and played some inspired golf to beat Lulu Housman of Highgate 5&4 in the final.

Tara’s closest match came against our very own Fiona Howard in the quarter-final. Fiona played extremely well to win her first round 3&2, but Tara prevailed in the all-Muswell Hill clash by the same score – it’s just a shame that they couldn’t have met in the final!
